GIGALite™ XLite
The GIGALite XLite series achieves its weight advantage through a purposeful material selection strategy. Silver-plated, copper-clad aluminum (SPCCA) and copper-clad steel (SPCCS) conductors and braid replace heavier conventional copper, while the dual-shield architecture ensures shielding effectiveness greater than -110dB across the frequency range.
Low-density PTFE dielectric and a white, laser-markable ETFE jacket complete a construction that is built light and built to last. They are built for the demands of modern avionics systems. All XLite cables are designed in accordance of MIL-DTL-17.
GIGABite™ XLite
The GIGABite XLite series achieves its weight advantage through purposeful material selection and innovative construction strategies. Stranded, high-strength copper alloy conductors and optimized shielding configurations replace conventional solid copper approaches, while lightweight insulation materials ensure impedance control and EMI protection without excess weight.
