INNOVATIVELY DESIGNED DATA BUS

The GF224B-ASCBD is a laser-wire-markable, aerospace-grade Data Bus cable tailored for Honeywell ASCB Data Bus and Servo CAN Bus applications in the Primus EPIC/APEX avionics system.
This 125-ohm Twinax cable features a unique dual-wall insulation design to address contact extraction challenges caused by the thicker insulation needed for 125-ohm impedance. The inner layer is a high-temp MFA with a diameter smaller than the contact OD, making contact insertion and removal seamless. The outer layer is a foamed FEP that maintains the 125-ohm controlled impedance.
This innovative construction eliminates common issues like insulation creep back, while a double-sided aluminum shield with 50% overlap ensures robust performance in demanding environments.
Please note, GF224B-ASCBD is replacing the now discontinued GF125-24ASCB-D.

GF5-TX124T

HIGH PERFORMANCE TRIAXIAL CABLE

Designed to handle environments sensitive to EMI, the 50-ohm Triaxial cable GF5-TX124T is equipped with a solid, silver-plated copper-clad steel center conductor, dual silver-plated copper braid shields, and a durable, laser-markable Tefzel jacket. This cable is perfect for applications like radar systems, where protection against RFI and noise is critical. With its additional outer braid shield, it minimizes noise pick-up and improves the signal-to-noise ratio.

For optimal performance, we recommend using triaxial connectors that maintain the isolation of both shields. All GF5-124T connectors, however, will still fit securely with the inner coax cable of the triax.

 

GF7-449D

HIGH-DEFINITION 75 Ohm Coaxial VIDEO CABLE

The 75-ohm coaxial cable GF7-449D is an identical alternative to the commonly used V73263 cable, offering equivalent electrical performance, size, weight, connector compatibility, and application versatility. It features a double-shielded cable with a helically-wrapped silver-plated copper strip and tin-plated copper braid, providing over 100% shielding coverage. The GF7-449D is recommended for SMPTE 259M and is also suitable for SMPTE 292, SMPTE 424, and 12G-SDI video applications.

10/100BASE-T 1-PAIR ETHERNET CABLE

The GF228A-5E is a 28 AWG, 100Ω cable designed to deliver 10/100Base-T Gigabit performance in accordance to ANSI/ TIA-568-C.2. With a 90% round wire braided shield, this design provides ample protection against EMI in the vast majority of applications.

The GF426B-QUAD is designed as a 100 Ohm Quadrax Ethernet cable, 10/100Base-T that has a small outer diameter and is lightweight.

This cable is an identical alternative to PIC’s E51426, as well as a suitable alternative to Carlisle’s NF26Q100-01 and MX100Q-26. Any size 8 Quadrax contact designed for NF26Q100-01, MX100Q-26 or E51426 will also work with the GF426B-QUAD. GIGAFLIGHT provides tested Quadrax assemblies per the customer’s specification.

While being lighter and having an overall smaller outer diameter, the GF424E-QUAD exceeds Category 5e requirements. This cable is a suitable alternative to Carlisle’s NF24Q100-01 and MX100Q-24, as well as PIC’s E51424. Any size 8 Quadrax contact designed for NF24Q100-01, MX100Q-24 or E51424 will also work with the GF424E-QUAD. GIGAFLIGHT provides tested Quadrax assemblies per the customers specification and, in many cases, built with Quadrax contacts supplied by the customer.

The GF824E-6A is designed to deliver 10 Gigabit performance in accordance to ANSI/TIA 568 Category 6A up to 246ft (74.98m). The GF824E-6A is a suitable electrical alternative to the E6A6824 and MX10G-24.

Should your application require a higher operating temperature, the GF824E-6A features a tin-plated outer braid giving it a rating of up to +150ºC versus the GF824A-6A, which features a sliver-plated outer braid and temperature rating of up to +200ºC. Please contact GIGAFLIGHT for pricing.
