GF224B-ASCBD 125 OHM DATA BUS CABLE
INNOVATIVELY DESIGNED DATA BUS
The GF224B-ASCBD is a laser-wire-markable, aerospace-grade Data Bus cable tailored for Honeywell ASCB Data Bus and Servo CAN Bus applications in the Primus EPIC/APEX avionics system.
This 125-ohm Twinax cable features a unique dual-wall insulation design to address contact extraction challenges caused by the thicker insulation needed for 125-ohm impedance. The inner layer is a high-temp MFA with a diameter smaller than the contact OD, making contact insertion and removal seamless. The outer layer is a foamed FEP that maintains the 125-ohm controlled impedance.
This innovative construction eliminates common issues like insulation creep back, while a double-sided aluminum shield with 50% overlap ensures robust performance in demanding environments.
Please note, GF224B-ASCBD is replacing the now discontinued GF125-24ASCB-D.
